Data Deletion & Correction

Requests concerning information maintained in AFROSOC CRM

You may ask the organization responsible for your AFROSOC CRM record to review, correct, or delete information associated with you, subject to legitimate security, legal, dispute-resolution, and organizational recordkeeping needs.

How to make a request

  1. Contact the AFROSOC organizer or administrator through the same organizational channel you used to join, register, or receive CRM access.
  2. State that the request concerns AFROSOC CRM and specify whether you are requesting access, correction, deletion, or revocation of organizer contact.
  3. Provide enough information to identify the relevant record, such as the name and email address or phone number previously provided to the organization. Do not send passwords or authentication secrets.
  4. The administrator may need to verify your identity before changing or disclosing a record.

Google authorization

You can separately revoke AFROSOC CRM’s Google authorization from your Google Account controls. Revocation stops future access under that authorization. If the CRM previously stored information necessary for an enabled feature, a separate deletion request may still be needed.

What may be retained

Some limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security and audit logs, fraud or abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or records that the organization has a legitimate obligation to preserve. When deletion is appropriate, active CRM records should be removed or de-identified in accordance with the administrator’s retention procedures.
